Pecan Pie

3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup pecan halves
Dash of salt

Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, salt, corn syrup and butter or margarine. Add pecans. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.
