Apple Nut Cake

CAKE
2 cups sugar
1-1/2 cups salad oil
3 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 cups chopped apples
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and oil. Add eggs and other ingredients. Mix well. Pour into Bundt or tube pan. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.

GLAZE
1/2 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup evaporated milk

Combine glaze ingredients. Boil slowly for 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Pour over cake.
