Sangria

1 25.4 oz. bottle Burgundy or other dry red wine, chilled
1/2 cup sugar
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 10 oz. bottle club soda, chilled

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add club soda just before serving. Serve over ice. Makes about 1 quart.
